Awaiting 2012 prices from the hotel. Located in Eastern Asturias in Rivadedeba county, is this delightful old Indianos house that was built in 1908. It has been sensitively restored and renovated (winning an architectural award for restoration work) and is now a twenty room hotel. The location is just 3 km. from the sandy beach of Playa La Franca and 18 km. from Llanes - a position perfect for exploring the many adventure activities possible on the coast and in the mountains. The building is surrounded by pleasant gardens. The spacious double rooms are fully ensuite and are decorated simply in pleasant natural colours and with comfortable furniture. Bathrooms are well-equipped and have hairdryers. There is wi-fi throughout the hotel and free parking. There is no restaurant at the hotel (they serve only breakfast) but there are several restaurants in the vicinity within a five minute walk.

Breakfast only is served, but there are several seafood restaurants and cideries within a five minute walk.

For stays of 1 or 2 nights: If cancelled more than 7 days prior to reservation, no hotel penalty. If cancelled within seven days of reservation the hotel will charge the amount of one night.
For stays of 3 nights or more: if cancelled within seven days of reservation, hotel will charge 30% of entire stay. In cases where client has booked three or more nights and shortens the number of days reserved (upon arrival or during stay), the hotel will charge 30% of the cost of the remaining nights. In case of no-show, 100% of complete stay charged.
Balearic & Canary Islands
If cancelled between fifteen and eight days of reservation date, the hotel will charge 50% of the total nights reserved. If cancelled seven or less days prior to reservation date, hotel will charge total amount of stay. In case of no-show, 100% of complete stay charged.

The building and the interior. It reminded us of the films 'Gone with the Wind' and 'Rebecca'.
The owner of the hotel, Beatrice, was extremely helpful. She realized that we were unhappy and suggested that we should try to find another hotel. She even offered us her computer. My husband phoned La Casona de Revolgo and they welcomed us back for the rest of our holidays.
Didn't Like:
The hotel was not in the right location for us. There was no restaurant or shop in the village and we had to drive quite a bit to find a place (narrow road, bendy and hilly). For people who just drive off after breakfast to go to the Picos - fine.
We couldn't find hiking paths. You either end up on a farm or you have to walk on the road.”
