Situated in the little hamlet of Villanasur Río de Oca, 27 km. from Burgos, the owners have skillfully restored this attractive building to a delightful small and charming guest house with nine ensuite guest bedrooms (and three of the suites have welcoming fireplaces.) The original mirador, in the Venetian style, has been decorated in honour of the special voyages of Marco Polo. In keeping with the original structure's materials of stone and wood, wonderful warm colours have been added throughout - Saffron, Ginger, Vanilla and Cinnamon. Handprinted paper and vanguardist elements are also part of the intriguing decoration in this hotel, giving it a warm and nostalgic atmosphere. Bulgari products are provided in the ensuite bathrooms. Massages and beauty treatments using Decleor products are offered (please reserve in advance). Breakfast (a la carte) is generous and delicious and the cuisine for dinners is casual, using fresh local ingredients (dinner approx. 25 euros pp). This is an original rural property with friendly service and a relaxing ambiance.

For stays of 1 or 2 nights: If cancelled more than 7 days prior to reservation, no hotel penalty. If cancelled within seven days of reservation the hotel will charge the amount of one night.
For stays of 3 nights or more: if cancelled within seven days of reservation, hotel will charge 30% of entire stay. In cases where client has booked three or more nights and shortens the number of days reserved (upon arrival or during stay), the hotel will charge 30% of the cost of the remaining nights. In case of no-show, 100% of complete stay charged.
Balearic & Canary Islands
If cancelled between fifteen and eight days of reservation date, the hotel will charge 50% of the total nights reserved. If cancelled seven or less days prior to reservation date, hotel will charge total amount of stay. In case of no-show, 100% of complete stay charged.

Quaint little spot in the middle of now where. Wandered into the only the pub and made friends with every local there... amazing people, beautiful location.

Absolutely nothing. Although I would have loved a little outside pool to cool off in, but it's seems most of Spain isn't really into pools, which surprises me.” Rating: Excellent
