Awaiting 2012 prices from the hotel. The main building of Hacienda Zorita was originally a fourteenth century Dominican monastery. Now a delightful hotel that focuses on viticulture and oenology, there are twenty nine special rooms and suites for guests who want to immerse themselves in wine culture. The rooms are well-equipped with heating, airconditioning, king beds, satellite television, flat-screen tv, minibar, full bathroom with hairdryer and bathrobe. There is a gastronomic restaurant in what was once the monastery’s refectory, a wine-tasting showroom and wine spa at the Hacienda Zorita. In the vicinity of Salamanca, the area is of cultural and historical significance. Visit the wine cellar, Bodega de Crianza Durius, for a tasting of the estate’s best wines. The Wine Spa is located in a fifteenth century building with river views and here you can enjoy massages and therapeutic treatments with products having a grape base. There is a warm hacienda welcome here and the staff are friendly and helpful.
