El Caserio de Lobones was painstakingly restored into this lovely ten roomed inn, with the classification of Posada, the highest rating in the rural tourism category of Castilla y Leon. There is a parking area at this hotel and, (hopefully) as of August 2009, a new swimming pool and a small boutique with products from Segovia will be ready. The guestrooms are beautifully decorated, are all en suite and have telephones and television. The superior rooms have a minibar. The inn is quiet, pleasant, simple but elegant and the hosts are charming. Part of an estate with the same name, it is conveniently located only 9 km. from Segovia and 96 km from Madrid. If guests wish, a guide will accompany them to Segovia to explore this historic town, its museums, monuments and gastronomy. Close by are the rivers of Eresma and Milanillos, and there are many outdoor activities available nearby (horse riding, biking, fishing). Breakfast and brunch are offered at this inn. Caserio de Lobones has been featured in many Spanish magazines.
