In the heart of the countryside just outside Seville is this authentic Andalucian hacienda. With some of the best horse-drawn coaches (which are available to guests) and Spanish-bred horses to ride, this is a little piece of heaven for horse-lovers. This is rural accommodation of the highest standard where a welcoming atmosphere and great attention to detail is the norm. Its classical, white and ochre silhouette outlined against the blue sky is lovely. For those not interested in horses, there are wonderful hikes to take in the area, biking, 4x4 rides to gastronomic and rural routes, swimming pool and relaxing common areas for guests - all make for an interesting stay at Hacienda de Oran. Rooms are spacious and decorated in typically Andalusian colours; bathrooms are equipped with all modern conveniences. Traditional food is served (approx. cost of dinner 30 euros) The Hacienda is very popular with people from Seville on weekends (who may have Communion or wedding celebrations there). The restaurant could be closed on these occasions (as it would be open only to the celebrants). If you want peace and quiet, you might want to avoid summer weekends.

“The Hacienda is beautiful and seems to have lots of potential. Didn't seem entirely prepared to have us and as a result, lots of things were below standard. The horses are magnificent, but they need to figure out a way to control the flies.”
