“What a fantastic building. The only problem we had was understanding the young girl on reception (our fault for not knowing more spanish!)we didn't know what ID she was needing from us, got there eventualy! It would have been nice to have been given some information about the hotel facilities (I had forgotten about the pool) and the village and also the Monestary/School. Room was lovely (air con was a bit noisy and not very effective). Food was fantastic. The chef was lovely, came and spoke to us which was really nice, and the pudding he created, chocolate mousse, was superb, many thanks!”

“Web site should ahve said that this was guest house and therefore no bar on site - nearest bar was miles away!”

“The hotel was visually charming, and we had no problem with the decor of the room. However, it was chilly when we arrived, and there was no heat. The explanation was that the man never arrived to light the furnace. Also, we had arrived at Casa Palacio directly from the Madrid airport, and no one had bothered to inform us that the hotel restaurant would be closed, as well as all the other restaurants in Uclés. So instead of spending our first day at the hotel, recovering from jet lag, we were forced to drive to the nearest large town in search of lunch and dinner. I would recommend this hotel only during the warmer, busier summer season, for these reasons (when I imagine it would be quite pleasant). ”
