“We did not get reservations at the Hurricane (it was full), but stayed at their "sister" place the Ponte Sur (previously Hotel Balcon). It was a very casual, easy going place. Great for families. It was motel style, a real plus so you can park the car near the room. The patio restaurant was beautiful and served some of the best food we had in any restaurant the whole trip. Very friendly, helpful staff. They seem to be renovating and updating. Although our room was sparsely furnished, it was very spacious, freshly painted, and immaculately clean. ”

“Excellent setting, accommodation & food. On arrival we presented the booking confirmation & were allocated a room. On departure we were advised that we had stayed in a more expensive room than we had reserved however it was only when we remonstrated with the manager that an amicable arrangement was made to meet the original quoted cost”

Ambiance. Ground floor ocean facing rooms are fabulous. Pool, garden area and common areas very clean , stylish.
