Awaiting 2012 prices from the hotel. This delightful, inexpensive, eight room hotel in the Dunar Park (Ribeira area) is spread over three lovely buildings. Blanca Ricoy de Borbon and her family are the owners and hosts of this property and they take delight in the friendly and helpful service. All the guestrooms have direct access to the garden. A small, independent sitting room is a complement to the large guestrooms, all uniquely decorated and with full bathrooms. Breakfast and dinner are served in the hotel's restaurant which serves Galician dishes with French influence (around 20 euros pp). There is an extensive winelist and all the produce is fresh and local. The gardens include a swimming pool for guest use. The location of this special little inn is just 500 metres from the Atlantic Ocean, and there are many outdoor activities possible within easy distance of the inn. Oil painting classes are offered (in the garden) - which should be booked in advance. The are bikes for hire from the hotel.

Notes Deep sea fishing, boat hire. Walking in the Vixan and Corrubedo nature reserves with beaches stretching over six kilometres. Trekking in the Barbanza mountain range. Celtiberian ruins, hill forts, dolmen, cave paintings. Golf course half an hour from the hotel.

Cancellation Policy:
For Mainland Spain (peninsula)
For stays of 1 or 2 nights: If cancelled more than 7 days prior to reservation, no hotel penalty. If cancelled within seven days of reservation the hotel will charge the amount of one night.
For stays of 3 nights or more: if cancelled within seven days of reservation, hotel will charge 30% of entire stay. In cases where client has booked three or more nights and shortens the number of days reserved (upon arrival or during stay), the hotel will charge 30% of the cost of the remaining nights. In case of no-show, 100% of complete stay charged.
Balearic & Canary Islands
If cancelled between fifteen and eight days of reservation date, the hotel will charge 50% of the total nights reserved. If cancelled seven or less days prior to reservation date, hotel will charge total amount of stay. In case of no-show, 100% of complete stay charged.

The accommodation was excellent. The dinners, and fresh sea food, were much appreciated. The welcome was very warm. the moreso perhaps because one of us was French ... and the other not English ( Welsh) - although we are sure the welcome would always be warm! The advice on wines to accompany the meals was balanced and well judged.
We found the direction sign initially for the hotel by luck/accident. Road nos need to be updated.Didn't Like:
