The miniscule village of Carabias is part of the endless cultivated plain that separates Atienza from Sigüenza. This is the location of Cardadomo, a small and peaceful inn. The hotel interweaves texture and light from the quiet countryside, with its relaxing interiors featuring music, delicate silk and velvet, stone and wood and medieval art. On two floors, there are six standard double rooms, four double rooms with views, a superior double room and one suite. The suite is large enough for two adults and two children. All rooms have kingsized beds with feather duvets, wi-fi, plasma screen televisions, full spacious bathrooms complete with hairdrier. Outside is a romantic little square, a fig-tree shaded garden and pleasant views. The hotel restaurant offers two alternative a la carte menus - each blending traditional regiona; dishes with Mediterranean cuisine. Dinner is served from 21:00. The inn has its own small swimming pool with comfortable sun lounges. Various outdoor adventures can be arranged: 4 x 4 excursions, cycling tours, trekking in the protected natural reserve of Rio Dulce or even hot air ballooning. The hotel offers good sized, well-equipped meeting rooms for either ten or twenty people and complete retreats can be organized. This is a popular location for Madrilenos to spend their weekends or special holidays - so it can get very busy at those times and in August.
