Two night minimum stay in high season.

Awaiting 2012 prices from the hotel.
In the heart of Seville is this typical charming patiod Sevillan villa from the 19th century, the old home of master Spanish guitarist Manuel Serrapi. The family has restored and renovated the home in the style of the original structure, adding elegance and comfort to pamper their guests. There are wonderful views over Seville from the roof gallery and each room has been tastefully decorated in Sevillan style. All the rooms face the central patio, a place with excellent natural light. Architectural elements have been preserved, such as wooden beams, ironwork, original banisters, lanterns, wooden doors and windows, stucco walls and a beautifully tiled floor. The rooms are not large, but they are comfortable (with good bathrooms) and some have a balcony. There is no restaurant at the hotel, but breakfast(which is included in the price) may be served in your room (at any time) or in the ground floor breakfast room/library. Regional delicatessan snacks are also offered. It is not advisable to try driving to or from this location as there are many winding, narrow one-way streets, but the hotel can direct you to a nearby parking lot (see Notes below) Ask for directions to Seville's oldest restaurant, just a few metres from the hotel. From this central location, stroll the streets, visit the beautiful Alcazar, and watch some wonderful flamenco. This is in the oldest part of Seville, and can be frustrating to find. Study the map carefully or, if you are taking a cab, tell the driver that it is in the Almuden. A recent guest commented "This house is a great introduction to the golden age of flamenco, and a marvellous vantage point for experiencing the old city centre."
Family Information
Unsuitable for children under the age of 8. For families the hotel has the Las Suites del Maestro: they are located in a privileged area next to the Cathedral, Hernando Colon street.
Notes
While it is preferable to be a pedestrian in Seville, it is not always possible. Here is some useful information from the hotel owners:
There is parking less than 100 metres from the hotel, which has both hourly rates, and discounted rates for stays longer that a day. There is usually also safe parking on the street, which is preferrable to parking in the Santa Justa station. Travel in Spain is a dream with AVE high speed trains: the AVE trains operate on the Madrid-Cordoba-Seville route and can whisk you to/from Madrid and Seville in just 2.5 hours (with many other routes available). Taxis from the airport should cost 20 Euros. Seville airport is located about 10 Kilometres north east of the city, on the NIV motorway to Cordoba and Madrid. The bus EA runs a regular service to and from the city and the main railway station. There are plenty of taxis outside the terminal building and a number of leading car hire companies based at the airport. There are regular national flights to Madrid, Barcelona, Arrecife, Bilbao, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Palma de Mallorca, Santiago de Compostela and Tenerife. There are also regular International flights to Amsterdam, Brussels, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, London, Milan, Munich, Paris and Rome.

Beautiful hotel; great thick luxurious bathrobes; nice little balcony off our room. We liked having breakfast in our room and the 24/7 internet access.

Staying in smaller hotels is our preference as it allows us contact with the owner. Everyone was very helpful and breakfast above the city on the rooftop was wonderful. It was ideally situated for walking to major sites.

The people were very nice, as were the rooms. It was a bit farther away from the oldest part of town, but in the end we liked that because it took us through another neighborhood, less touristy. It's a kind of unusual place and we really enjoyed our stay there.

We loved this hotel. The people were extremely helpful and friendly and service oriented. The roof top garden was a delight, and the beds were the most comfortable of our entire stay.

The website did not make clear how difficult it is to find the Casa the first time. Our cabbie used our map and the company radio dispatcher to find it.

Thanks to your staff at both hotels for making our stay a wonderful experience. Quality shows in staff and hotel rooms. Thank you very much

The one member of the party we were traveling with twisted his knee earlier on the trip and could barely walk and had to cut short the trip. The two young men who were working there helped confirm air reservations and arranged for taxi and even arranged for food to be brought in for the evening meal which was above and beyond what we might have expected. We thank them again.

Charming. The rooms were great. The terrasse on the roof offers a very nice view. It's very well located, we walked everywhere. It's also quiet, which allows for good nights.

The two hotels (Casa del Maestro and Casa Morisca) that I booked through Inns of Spain exceeded my expectations by a mile! They were perfect and added much to our stays in Seville and Granada. The ambiance, services, and personnel at the inns were all outstanding. I'll definitely recommend Inns of Spain to anyone traveling in Spain! Thanks! Jane Melton

Lovely place, very convenient location. Again would have been hard to find with the car, and even the taxi from the airport Hertz car return place had to find it on their map....Patricia is wonderful lady/owner, very helpful. A great place.

We enjoyed our stay so much. The staff was friendly and Humberto was so helpful. The beds were extremely comfortable. Clean spacious bathrooms. The breakfast brought to us on the upstairs terrace was a nice touch, and the coffee the best of our whole European trip! Great place with a lot of charm. The steep staircase was difficult to manuever with all of our luggage but we managed. Loved this place.

Very nice hotel, the room was lovely and the staff very helpful, great place to stay in Sevilla.

We should probably have taken the superior room, ours was a bit small for a whole week (bathroom on the other hand was huge). But that isn't the hotel's fault: Americans have more trouble adjusting to European hotel sizes. More important, not being able to breakfast before 9 was a pain, our conference, a 20-minute walk away, started at 8. They did their best to accommodate us but it was obviously difficult. They said it was in order to serve fresh bread and because the staff didn't come earlier. Rooftop setting for breakfast very nice, and the hotel opened a new public area with computer access while we were there, which was handy. Lack of parking a distinct handicap, we left our vehicle in a garage all week because it was just too hard to figure out where to leave it.

Very hospitable and polite, helpful. Only comment, the cleaning staff making noise during siesta time (due to the achitecture of the building the chit-chatting or other sounds echo more than expected and staff needs to be a bit more considerate going up and down the stairs)

We really enjoyed our stay in Sevilla. We did have a problem that you helped us resolve after we returned home.

Great location. Nice premises. However there was a mix up over local restaurant booking. One receptionist said it hadn't been done. Next morning another asked had we enjoyed it? Parking anywhere close is VERY difficult. Best advice would be to use public transport from airport and go back there to pick up car.

We were in a "luxury" suite, but it was on the ground level. Ground level is less than ideal since you hear everyone coming in/out and the windows face the lobby.

Beautiful room, and very charming and very comfortable, but as you've probably already heard, it is SO difficult to find. We did it in a car, and I would strongly advise anyone staying at this hotel to NOT try this. (That is if they want to keep their sanity. ;) This would be a great peice of information to advice clients using this site.

A little disappointing. The room we stayed in was nothing like what we had seen on the website. Room small in width. However I would like to mention one of the members of staff at the hotel - Daniel. This guy was brilliant. After driving around Seville for 2 hours and not being able to locate the hotel due to the one way systems, we put a call into the hotel and Daniel came out to find us. Lead us into the hotel and parked the car - he was our saviour that afternoon!

The Hotel had a great feeling and was decorated in accordance with its age and a theme compatible with the famous earlier owner. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was very good. The room was adequate in size although we would have preferred a larger room. I have noted from other responses that this is an issue for some people however I think they should appreciate that these are old homes and the size of room will not equate with some of the boring modern hotels. Any problems with this aspect could be removed if my suggestion above was incorporated into the website.
Didn't Like:
The fact that there was no lift to service the accomodation floors. Some small boutique hotels we have previously stayed at in France,Portugal and Spain have ingeniously incorporated a lift despite the age and layout of the building. Although, there was a lounge room with drinks available and ice, once the ice was removed (at some stage in the late evening or night)there was no capacity to have a cold drink. A small fridge would have been appreciated. Although we were there in October the days were stil quite warm and after a hard days walking around Sevilla it would have been great to unwind with a drink on the roof of the Hotel overlooking the city. Although you could gain access to the roof it was in a state of delapidation and we did not use it. I can imagine that such a sanctuary would be appreciated by guests even more so when staying there in the warmer months. It seemed a potential asset surprisingly unutilised.

WE HAD TO CHANGE OUR BOOKING FROM 3 X DOUBLES TO 1 X DOUBLE + 1 TRIPLE.HAD WE REALISED THAT THIS MEAN'T YOU COULDN'T MOWE ROUND THE ROOM WHEN THE SECOND BED WAS DOWN WE WOULD HAVE BOOKED 3 ROOMS.UNFORTUNATELY THE HOTEL WAS FUL SO NOTHING COULD BE DONE. ALSO WE FOUND THAT ALTHOUGH THE BREAKFAST WAS GREAT WITH LOVELY FREASH BREAD,IT WAS SERVED BETWEEN 9 & 12 O'CLOCK.THE LAST DAY WE HAD TO RUSH FOR AN EARLIY FLIGHT AND WAS PROMISED 8:30 BREAKFAST.EVEN WITH BEING READY AND WAITING AT THAT TIME IT WAS NOT SERVED UNTIL 9:00 AS THE STAFF DID NOT START UNTIL 8:30 ISH. DESPITE THESE MINOR ANNOYANCES WE WOULD STILL RECOMMEND THE CASA FOR A GOOD ATMOSPHERE BOTH IN THE HOTEL AND SURROUNDINGS.
Rating: Good
Staff was helpful, but the room and bed were not particularly comfortable and they seemed to charge for everything, such as internet service, which the others did not. The others were far better value.
Rating: Good
Great Hotel, ability to serve breakfast when busy, hopeless.

We were moved at late notice to a block of apartments. Very nice, very clean and modern and in good position near to cathedral, but no staff on site after we had been checked in so perhaps a little vulnerable and self-catered breakfast - which wasn't very inspiring and we didn't use. However, the maid on reception was charming and polite and the owner spoke to us on the phone to check all was well. Seville very very hot so had to stay in flat during long afternoon which was perhaps a bit boring and might have been less so in a hotel with public rooms and more going on. Nevertheless would recommend this apartment to someone who wanted an apartment-based stay in Seville.

Location is great. Room small but clean and adequate. Our disappoinment was the seemingly unfriendliness of the staff. Totally businesslike. Not knowing that this is standard fare, we were taken aback, but later learned that the Catalans can be a bit chilly, very different from the reception that we received in Madrid at a lower-end hotel.
Rating: Average
extremeley small room, bad mattress, poor plumbing, mildew smell. very expensive for what it offers. the breakfast, however, was fantastic. because of breakfast and good location we did not rate the hotel as poor.
