This enclave of typically Sevillian architecture was a neighbourhood courtyard in the eighteenth century. The forty two rooms (doubles, superior rooms and suites) are decorated with columns, ceramics, seagrass and stone, earthenware pitchers and traditional works of art, together with colonial style furniture in a fresh and friendly ambience. In addition, the Senzone Restaurant, a culinary space devoted to the local flavours of Andalusia, is a comfortable and romantic space. The swimming pool-solarium on the roof, with its unique views of the historical city centre, is well worth a visit, as is the recently inaugurated Bodyna Spa, offering a fusion of Eastern and Western cultures. The Bodyna has an area for massages and spa treatments, a fitness room, a sauna, an open air swimming pool and terrace-solarium from which to enjoy the Andalusian sun while enjoying tapas or freshly prepared fruit juices from the Senzone Pool Bar. We loved the intriguing mix of old and new, sun and shade, openness and cosy spaces at this small hotel. The multilingual staff are professional while being helpful and friendly. We also liked the location of the inn, away from the noise and hectic crowds of the Santa Cruz area but within five or ten minutes walk of the cathedral, restaurants, Alcazar etc. The location is the plaza Jesús de la Redención.

Our Feedback
Rating: Very Good “Liked: pool (because it was so hot), size of room, lovely bathroom, helpful people at the desk (although it wasn't the same people consistently) Didn't Like: really poor lighting in the room, smoking in the courtyard that filtered up to the rooms so when you stepped out of them you were assaulted with it” Rating: Good “Liked: The welcome was excellent. Didn't Like: The air conditioning in the room was not working when we checked in but was repaired within two hours. There was a tax (I believe it was 16%) that was added to the bill. This was not quoted ahead of time and did not occur at any other hotels in Spain where we stayed.”
