Located within the protected volcanic area of La Garrotxa National Park (Girona), this farm of 400 hectares dating back to the 15th century, is now a hotel with exceptional views of the Pyrenees, the mountains of Collsacabra and the Mediterranean Coast. This ancient seignorial house offers four double guestrooms and independent apartments for up to 5 people. The comfortable double rooms have double or twin beds, wood floors and lovely white linens and are decorated with period furniture. Each has its own modern bathroom. The hotel entrance has an extensive glass wall giving wonderful views to the mountains. The spacious guest living room is in the original rustic style with terracotta floor, stone walls, wooden beams, and a large fireplace. The covered terrace has wicker chairs and endless scenic views. The hotel has a restaurant open to the public, which specializes in à la carte select cuisine, with a good winelist. You may dine in the restaurant or on the terrace in the summer, and chef Oscar will prepare traditional Spanish and regional cuisine.

Picnic service: complete picnic backpacks are available for four people, with suitable menus.
Notes Trekking and cycling on the farm grounds. It is also possible to visit volcanic cones, as well as museums, churches and buildings of great historic and architectural value in the neighboring localities. Outside the farm, all kind of sports can be practiced including swimming, skiing and golf. From the Hotel and through tracks suitable for four-wheel drive vehicles, you can visit the villages of Santa Pau and Sant Feliu de Pallerols, and the municipality of Sant Aniol de Finestres. The local road starting at Km. 61.5 and stretching for 7.5 kilometres, winds through a small valley to the church of Sant Iscle de Colltort. It then leads up to “Coll de Can Tiá”, and enters the estate. Woods of beech, holm oak and oak line this road to form a beautiful natural park.
