The Hotel requires a 2 night minimum stay.
This popular little casa rurale is located just an hour's drive from the ferry and airport terminals at Bilbao and Santander, in a tiny peaceful farming village. It is a simple inn with just 5 comfortable and charming ensuite bedrooms and is also the home (and studio) of Mari-Cruz and Graeme who have carefully restored the stone house which is named after the mountain that rises above it. It is filled with artwork and makes a comfortable base from which to explore the surrounding area. It's a great place to enjoy an active holiday, walking, cycling, swimming, climbing, caving, golfing (not to mention the less strenuous joys of eating, drinking, shopping and just plain relaxing). Enjoy dinner in the dining room where delicious traditional Spanish food is offered-dinner approximately 17 euros a person. The innkeepers both speak English. 2 night minimum stay at all times. This inn accepts credit cards for final payment, but not travellers checks.

Warm welcome from Marie Cruz and Graeme. Lovely location -- beautiful setting in a peaceful village. Stylish but homely furnishings. WE thought the food was superb -- both breakfast and dinner were beautifully cooked and presented. Excellent value for money.

We were given a very friendly welcome and loved the rustic nature of the house. Every attention to detail had been given by the excellent hosts: Graeme and Marie-Cruz.The room was lovely, as were the house and the gardens. It is at the end of a small coutry road and well worth more than one stopover. The dinner was really Spanish and the superb breakfast set us up well for the day. The hosts could not have been more friendly or paid us more attetion. A lovely experience.

This inn deserves the highest rating. Truly warm hospitality, charming house, excellent food, beautiful garden, comfortable rooms and overall fantastic. MariCruz and Graeme, the innkeepers, really could not have been more warm, helpful and engaging. We look forward to a time when we can return.

The care and attention we received was superior to anything we have experienced before. The food was the food of gods and could never be improved on.
