The inn is attractive and very nicely decorated. In our room, the skylight directly over our bed was fabulous. We could see the starlit night lying in bed.
The owner, Esther was very gracious and sweet.
The breakfast was fresh and delicious.
Didn't Like:
We had a two narrow-flight climb to our room which had no windows other than the skylight. We happened to have no rain during our stay, but if had rained, we would've had to keep that one window shut.
We paid for a larger room, and I imagine that the floor measured the advertised size. However, since the ceiling in our loft was so slanted, there wasn't that much space to move around in. ”

They had made a error in the booking so we were upgraded to a better room. Very pleasant rooms, ours with a spa bath. However, there were no instructions and once in, I couldn't make it work!
The swimming pool was really cold, even in the hottest of weather.
The breakfasts were lovely and so pleasant to eat outside.
There were no tv s in the rooms but one downstairs. I prefer that.
The best thing for me was a piano (electric) to play. Because we were the only ones at first, I felt happy playing it. Maybe they could supply headphones to avoid embarrassment!

Very good location to see the monastery and good
access to other towns such as Avila and Segovia.
Didn't Like:
Breakfast after 9 a.m. is late if one has to get to the
airport or wants to see more of the surrounding area.
Perhaps if they just had coffee available in the kitchen
for those "on the run" that would be a nice touch.”
