Hotel Acinipio is in a restored building in the heart of Ronda (and it includes an additional modern building). Its imaginative, contemporary architectural design accentuates the light and scenic beauty of one of the most attractive towns in Andalusia, blending harmoniously with the iniviting décor of the hotel´s communal areas (which are full of art and antiques). The hotel´s central location means that the town is accessible on foot -- it is very close to the New Bridge, which links New Ronda-with the old part of town. The narrow streets are full of fascinating galleries, shops, cultural attractions and restaurants. The building has been designed so that its rooms offer the best and broadest views of the ravine and Ronda mountains. There are fourteen double rooms that are very comfortable and of a particularly high standard. The latest technology has been used both in the hotel´s construction, and in the heating and cooling systems, plumbing, lighting, and furnishing. All of the rooms (some of which have a hydro-massage tub and living room) are equiped with mini-bar, air conditioning, heating, background music, a television and a telephone. There is a great restaurant at the hotel, Atrium, that offers regional cuisine and a superb winelist.

Notes This house was the residence of two great artists, one local, Téllez Loriguillo, and another Japanese, Miki Haruta. Works by Téllez Loriguillo such as the fantastic mural The Children, and the watercolor Eight Rivers, among others, have been preserved in the house. In the foyer you will also find a selection of sculptures and bas-reliefs by Juan de Ávalos, as well as original decorative pieces which adorn the room and help give the hotel its unique character. The Ronda Mountains boast unparalleted natural beauty. Their romantic scenery is constantly surprising, with its labyrinth of winding roads, cliffs and caves, wild rocks and green valley.
Any applicable City and regional taxes (usually in the range of 1-3 euros per person/night) are collected by the hotel at checkout.

Our Feedback
Rating: Very Good “Convenient situation. Good rooms. Good value for money. Rather lacking in character” Rating: Good “Very nice room with great view in Ronda. Service a bit ragged, and it is very noisy in the back part (new part) of the building. Would probably look elsewhere next time in Ronda. Restaurant has cut back at night during week due to lack of business. Good food available during daytime. Breakfast bit skimpy--we were asked to pay for a second cup of coffee. First time for that.” Rating: Average “Breakfast was poor with no selections. No hot water one morning. ”
