The Hotel del Lago is situated next to Puigcerda Lake, with the Pyrenees as a backdrop, about a hundred metres from the town centre. This area is the Catalonian region of Puigcerda - a very peaceful place to stay, and to use as a base for enjoying the surrounding natural areas. In the summer enjoy golf, hiking, trekking, horseriding and ballooning. In the winter enjoy winter sports, skiing, snow-shoeing, igloos, dog sleighing (the hotel is 20 to 35 km. from twenty ski stations). The hotel has a contemporary feel, decorated with natural elements of slate, wood and rock. The ensuite rooms are simply decorated in natural materials and with good linens and comfortable beds and are equipped with television, minibar, direct dial phone, adsl connection, wi-fi in the hotel, hairdryer (and some rooms have terrace and jacuzzi tub). There is a pleasant garden with heated (covered in winter) swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna. There is a friendly ambience at this hotel, with helpful staff. Please note that there are no rooms that will accommodate four people.
