“Pago del Vicario was excellent if a little hard to find. Their sign is small on a small road and we missed it. A better map would have been nice, but the hotel and the staff were definately first rate. Thank you, we had a very nice time in Spain.”

“This was a fabulous gem!!! we loved it so much.. room was beautiful (especially after a day of driving) the staff were amazing!!! and the food...... spectacular.. a bit off the beaten path, but we will return.. ”

“We were a little disappointed because we were not told ahead of time that the restaurant was not open and there was not any wine tasting. But, the hotel staff was very nice and gave us a bottle of wine as a gift. We enjoyed our stay!”

The position of the hotel was lovely - the room was very nice althouogh would have liked a balcony - the bed was super big and very comfortable -
the staff we met were very helpful despite my not speaking Spanish and there being a language barrier (overcome with the help of a phrasebook)- Restaurant excellent when we eventually managed to eat in it - borrowed bikes and cycled around the vinyard - Wine Excellent especially their Rose but we cannot seem to get them to send it to England !! - We would go back but would need to see if the restaurant was likely to be open -

The Hotel was practically closed - the Restaurant was not open Sunday or monday nights depite what it said in the details in the room - we managed to eat there on Tues lunchtime before we left- the bar was served by the reception staff who had to go back and forth between reception if you required anything - the pool was open - there is a pool bar built but it is not stocked or serviced - there are water features around which were switched off - It fellt as if it was shut up for winter but as it was mid June this seemed a bit strange although there were very few people there - ”
