“Beautiful location, staff willing to give advice and assist organisation of horse treking. Eldest daughter (13) very enthusiastic about the dinner menu. Only hotel we stayed in with real 'family room' i.e. ajoining door and own shower.”

“This was our favorite hotel/Inn. Monste(sp?), the manager, was so very kind & a delight. The Chef, MariaJose, is a five star chef in our opinion. We greatly enjoyed her cuisine & the atmosphere. Speaking of, the whole setting is gorgeous!!! The mountains are beautiful & serene. A great get-a-way!!!”

“The service was excellent. One problem we encountered was we arrived by train and walked to the hotel arriving in the afternoon - very tired, hot and hungry! Unfortunately the hotel staff were unable to provide any refreshments and we had to try to find a cafe/bar in a fairly remote village.
We were lucky enough to find a very basic bar, where the owner kindly sold us some food. The hotel service was very good in every other way but perhaps they could have been a little more flexible, as we did not have a car.”

The room was quite small, in the attic level and seemed expensive for what it was -- the only window was small and at knee level.
The food was good, as noted, but as a package was not as good value as Casa Zalama.
For the price of the room, we would have expected easy internet access -- the only means to log on to e-mails was using the reception desk PC, which was far from ideal.”
