Ca Sa Galesa is a superb twelve room city hotel in the heart of Palma in a building originally dating to 1576. The rooms, each uniquely decorated, are named after famous musicians. From the patio you can access the dining room and 2 lounges. There is also El Cafe Ricks where breakfast is served, or you may take breakfast in your room or on your terrace. There is a sun terrace with hammocks, a fitness centre, a solarium, a sauna and a roman bath (cooled in summer and heated in winter). This pool is the only swimming pool of its style still existing in the gothic district of Palma. Various special baths and massages are offered at the hotel (starting at approximately 90 euros). The style of the hotel includes touches of Mallorquin, French, Italian and English traditional styles -- including windows from the 16th century, brass, marble and wooden floors imported from Puerto Rico, wooden furniture from the end of the 17th century and walls of Mallorquin pine. The totally equipped bathrooms are decorated with French mosaic and Mallorcan stone and have jacuzzi baths (and of course robes, hair dryer, and luxurious linens. ) This is a small hotel with a grand hotel feel to its services and amenities. Many clients claim that this is the BEST hotel at which they have ever stayed. If you are looking for a magical inn for a wedding anniversary, honeymoon or any special time, you would not find anything lovelier. There are a very limited number of parking spaces available at the hotel but there is a public parking lot about ten minutes walk away.
