Please, note that Christmas and Easter are considered High Season. This absolutely stunning new small hotel in the old quarter of Palma de Mallorca is a wonderful place to stay if you are looking for great design, good service and luxury. With just twelve intimate rooms (suites, junior suites and superior double rooms) Can Cera also offers a casual but classy restaurant, spa and small rooftop sunbathing terrace. From the moment you enter the welcoming gates to the courtyard you know that this hotel is different. The public spaces in this 16th century restored mansion are spacious and fascinating, with a perfect mix of original and modern. The guestrooms are decorated in a classic seaside Mallorcan style, but each is unique. Floors are tile or sisal covered and ceilings are high. The beds are very comfortable (king, with beautiful linens) and rooms all have flatscreen satellite television and DVD music centre, individual heating and cooling systems, free minibar, free wifi, direct telephone, safe, hairdryer and magnifying mirror and robes and slippers in the bathrooms. The suite would be perfect for a honeymoon or special celebration. Can Cera Gastro Bar is a warm, modern dining environment offering special tapas dishes as well as Mediterranean-Fusion menus. There is a welcoming coffee space at the entrance offering a selection of coffees and teas and homemade cakes. Breakfast can be a la carte or buffet - with fresh local foods included.

Notes There are many historic sites in Palma worth visiting, including the cathedral, the Almudaina Palace, the Arab baths. The modern art gallery is in a superb building enclosed within ancient walls. Walk along the harbour and follow the coastline for miles for a delightful walk. Golf can be arranged by the hotel. Rent a car and visit other beautiful spots on the island.
