La Casona de Calderón is located in the historic town of Osuna in southern Andalusia. The hotel is in a 17th century former noble family’s house the architecture of which is traditional and classical. There are just fifteen en-suite guestrooms here (all well equipped with television, phone, free wifi access, safe and hairdryer). There is a lovely interior patio - perfect for relaxing on a hot afternoon - a swimming pool and pleasant gardens that surround the Casona. The restaurant La Morenita serves typical regional and Mediterranean fare using local products. Public parking is available nearby. The location is perfect as a base for exploring the white villages and more significant Andalusian towns, being about an hour from Granada, Seville, Cordoba and Malaga. Its history goes back to Roman Times (some say the site of Caesar’s last battle), and the Dukes of Osuna were significant figures in Spanish history.
