Son Palou is situated in the charming village of Orient, in the heart of the Tramuntana mountain range, 10 km. from Alaro. Driving from the main road to the hotel the views of the hotel's finca and surrounding mountains are breathtaking. Although the hotel is only 25 minutes drive from Palma de Mallorca and the beach at Pto. Soller, the tranquility and fresh air makes guests want to stay and relax at the hotel for their entire holiday. The hotel's restaurant can prepare light snacks for lunch and 3 course dinners in the evening. Hikes from 1 hour to full day excursions have been mapped out for right from the hotel's front door. The narrow, winding road that connects Bunyola with Orient passes through one of Mallorca's most beautiful natural areas. The 8 rooms are uniquely and tastefully decorated (all en suite of course and with a hairdryer and bathrobe) In the rooms are a safe, minibar, telephone, satellite t.v., interet connection, air conditioning and heating. Some superior rooms have a terrace and the jr. suites have a whirlpool bath.
