Just a few miles from Manacor and 45 minutes from the airport is La Reserva Rotana, a finca in the middle of a 500 acre working farm. The house and adjacent buildings, were built in the 17th century and they have been converted into a wonderful country-style hotel with 21 spacious and comfortable rooms and suites. The rooms are decorated in a Mallorcan style but with all the most modern conveniences. The old elements of arches, stonework, beams and frescoes have been retained and enhanced with the addition of air conditioning, heating, satellite television, etc. On the grounds is a tricky 9 hole golf course with a driving range and practice green included in the room rate. A pool and tennis court complete the sports and leisure activities. Various excursions from hiking to wine cellars and horseback riding to hot air balloon can also be arranged. A special emphasis is put on gastronomy here and the restaurant specialises in mediterranean food, seafood fresh from the market and the produce from the grounds of the house.
