This hotel is a converted 19th century inn located in one of the quiet streets of the village, only 7 km. from the historic town of Plasencia. The former structure and materials have been retained--slate and lime for the walls, chestnut beams, slate and terracotta floors. Features include a cellar with huge 17th century amphoras, a stone fireplace and an old winepress, all arranged around a centenary courtyard complete with flowers and palm trees. The interiors are in perfect keeping with the feel of the building: they have simple, attractive, rustic furniture (but include central heating, good bathrooms too). Telephones and televisions are available but hidden away to maintain the appropriate atmosphere, but there is free high speed internet access for clients in the rooms. The hotel is located 7 kms. From Plasencia and 20 minutes from the Natural Park of Monfrague. Villages of Cuacos, Yuste, Garganta, La Olla, Cabezuela, Hervas, Galisteo and Coria are also close by for visiting. Dance workshops are organized by the owners in the dance studio, and there is also the possibility to enjoy astronomical observations in the countryside (wonderful stars!). Please note that American Express credit cards not accepted. Breakfast only is served and there are not any restaurants in the village. However the town of Plasencia is ten minutes away by car and there are many restaurants there.

For Mainland Spain (peninsula)
For stays of 1 or 2 nights: If cancelled more than 7 days prior to reservation, no hotel penalty. If cancelled within seven days of reservation the hotel will charge the amount of one night.
For stays of 3 nights or more: if cancelled within seven days of reservation, hotel will charge 30% of entire stay. In cases where client has booked three or more nights and shortens the number of days reserved (upon arrival or during stay), the hotel will charge 30% of the cost of the remaining nights. In case of no-show, 100% of complete stay charged.
Balearic & Canary Islands
If cancelled between fifteen and eight days of reservation date, the hotel will charge 50% of the total nights reserved. If cancelled seven or less days prior to reservation date, hotel will charge total amount of stay. In case of no-show, 100% of complete stay charged.
