In the building there are four recently refurbished elegant and modern apartments, behind the archictectural beauty of the 19th century facade. Entrance is through an impressive courtyard which once served as a carriage passage .The space has been tastefully designed creating a perfect atmosphere and conditions, and the comforts of a 5 star hotel. A corridor separates the four apartments making this an ideal layout to facilitate accomodating families or small groups. The building is ideally located in a pedestrian only area off the Puerta del Sol plaza, within walking distance of one of the most important commercial districts of the city as well as in the neighbohood of major monuments of the Madrid de los Austrias district, which include the Royal Palace, the Opera House Teatro de la Opera , La Almudena, Cathedral, etc. The two bedroom apartment, sleeping up to 4-6 persons, which includes two baths, fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious and comfortable salon area divided into two areas; living room with sofa bed and dining area. Master bedroom furnished with a double bed and en suite bathroom. A second bedroom furnished with twins beds Equipped with home cinema TV system. DVD, music system, internet connection and A/C. The spacious yet intimate layout makes this an ideal apartment to share with family members or friends. This is a self-catering property and there are no services. If you have a long-stay, cleaning is provided.
Notes A two minute walk takes you to the nearby subway stations, Puerta del Sol (lines 1, 2 and 3) and Opera (lines 2 and 5), as well as to the hub of numerous bus routes to most points of the city

Cancellation Policy:
If the reservation is cancelled 3 months or more prior to arrival the 25% deposit will not be refunded. If cancelled 3 months to 1 month prior to arrival 50% of the total amount of the booking will be charged. If cancelled 1 month or less prior to arrival the full amount of the booking will be charged. A 15 euros cancellation fee per apartment booked will be charged by Inns of Spain on all reservations that are confirmed and then cancelled by the client. The Inns of Spain cancellation fee may be credited towards any future bookings within 12 months.

The location is perfect. It is close to the Palace at one end and to the Plaza del Sol at the other end. It is centrally located to the art galleries as well. The rooms are quiet and spacious. The convenience of having a kitchen allow for the making of breakfast and lunch.
Didn't Like:
The bed used in the master bedroom needs to be improved. The wood slat support is insufficient. There is noise and light coming into the second bedroom, from the interior open space of the building.”
