Larger than most of our offerings, yet with an intimate feeling, this hotel has 73 fully equipped spacious, modern rooms with complimentary minibar, safe, direct data line, 24-hour room service, laundry service, satellite and pay TV, double glazing, automatic shutters, pillow menu, hairdryer, and more. Some of the double superior rooms have a terrace and on the fifth floor the rooms have cathedral ceilings. For families there are communicating suites and junior suites. Located between the Gran Via and Puerta del Sol, in the cultural, commercial and business heart of Spain's capital city, it is approximately a 1 km walk to the Royal Theatre and other attractions such as the Royal Palace, Cathedral, the Prado Museum, and Plaza Mayor. The building that houses Hotel Preciados was built in 1881 on property owned by the Descalzas Reales, whose first owner was the Count of Romanones. The location is a one minute walk to the nearest Cortes Ingles. Now completely refurbished, this building on the corner of Preciados and Veneras streets combines 19th-century elegance and 21st-century progress, putting the latest in design and technology to work for its guests.
