For many people, the Adler is the most charismatic, fashionable and sophisticated hotel in Madrid. Located in the prestigious Salamanca district, surrounded by designer stores, it’s an extraordinary place to stay in the city. The decor was created by the acclaimed designer P. Ortega, and is one of the best examples of neo-classicism using clean lines and natural materials. The bathrooms are exceptionally beautiful. The hotel is centrally located, close to the Cultural Center Villa, The Paseo Colón, Natural Library, Archaeological Museum and the Park of the Retiro, and is a walk of approximately twenty minutes to the Prado and Thyssen Bornemisza museums. Each of the forty five spacious rooms and suites is sophisticated, elegant yet comfortable, with beautiful furniture and furnishings. The rooms are air conditioned and have wi-fi internet (there is an additional charge for this), direct dial telephone, minibar, satellite television (and some rooms are non-smoking). Parking is available at this hotel for an extra charge. The hotel's restaurant offers light fare and there is a very pleasant bar in which to relax before exploring the possibilities of the many restaurants in the area. A transfer to the airport is approx. 85 euros for four people. The multi-lingual staff are friendly and helpful.
