Easter a 3 night minimum reservation is required
Located in the heart of the Albayzin district, close to the Alhambra, is this small palace originally built in the 16th century and skilfully restored to a beautiful small hotel with just fifteen rooms. The inn's name comes from a poem by Juan Ramon Jimenez - Olvidos de Granada - and the decor in the inn incorporates water symbols and images that are important to Granada's history. The welcoming entrance has Tuscan columns and eight of the beautifully decorated and air conditioned guestrooms have views of the Nasrid Palaces of the Alhambra. The rooms are full of small artistic treasures, Moorish and Mudejar, which add to the romantic appeal of this delightful hotel. Each room has been simply decorated, warm and inviting without being ostentatious: terracotta floors with oriental rugs, plain white walls, solid wood ceiling work and furniture and gentle lighting. There are beautiful bed linens and luxurious bath products. There is no restaurant at this inn but there are many in the vicinity. Please note that 10% VAT is extra. Remember that you have to book IN ADVANCE for entrance to the Alhambra.
Family Information
The hotel has rooms for two people. A family of four will require two rooms.
Meal Information

Notes

Delightful small hotel, with cool, sophisticated decor. Spotlessly clean. Pleasant welcome by staff. Extremely comfortable bed with crisp linens, but some street noise at night. Good breakfast. Convenient location.

Comfortable rooms, friendly staff, would love to return

Wonderful place but I wouldn't even dream of trying to drive there. Park somewhere and take a cab, you'll live longer. Modern courtyard area and we had sort of an antique but very clean room with a modern shower. Great combination. Great location.

Very beautiful, just redone, nice combination of old and new: it's in a 16th century building which they have enhanced, but there is also a very contemporary lobby. Great location, nice people.

This is one of the loveliest places I have ever stayed in. From the outside you would never know that behind the doors is a warm, relaxing oasis. Every part of the hotel is extremely clean. The rooms are very comfortable and decorated very nicely. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. The location of this hotel is Amazing!! It is close to the Alambra and to so many other great places.

Great location Very clean Helpful staff View from the top floor
Didn't Like:
Standard rooms are dark as they face a narrow alley Sall step in courtyard is a tripping hazard You cannot park there or even stop for more than a minute in your car to unload. Otherwise it blocks traffic on a busy street. We knew this ahead of time so we took a taxi

everybody at the front desk were so helpful and friendly.I loved the room and free internet access. Breakfast for 9 Euro is a little bit overpriced compare to other places.I really enjoyed neighberhood at night time.I will go back to stay again!!

Lovely hotel, a combination of the traditional and the modern in a fine location, perfect for walking Granada streets. Bus to the Alhambra leaves from the small plaza nearby.

Very nice room but we could hear noise from the room upstairs !
Rating: Very Good
The staff were extremely helpful and tolerated and interpreted our weak attempts at Spanish with consideration and patience. Facilities in the room were fine - though it was tedious to have to keep asking for a kettle etc - as these were not as standard. Their guidance on local restaurants etc was excellent.

The locale and accomodations were very good. However, as stated above, sleeping was difficult, due to the high level of noise coming from the street.

great difficulty parking the car with inadequate instructions. No restaraurt (this did not matter but we were told to expect one) The room was not nearly as good as we were expecting but was very clean and comfortable despite the small size.

The staff was very friendly, the hotel was very nice and perfectly situated. Will recommend it to my friends visiting Granada!

good breakfasts staff serving breakasts very helpful and accommodating. Room was lovely although noise outside could be heard late at night. This on the whole did not spoil our stay. Beds not quite as comfortable as stated. Rooms to a high standard and had character. The hotel and inner courtyard was just lovely. No complaints and would return to this hotel again which is in a good position for accessing all of Granada.
