Everything! Warm welcomes and friendly service from the whole family and staff. The house, terrace, and gardens are all beautiful. Breakfast was always home cooked and delicious. Very relaxing, always quiet. We stayed 5 nights and wanted to stay more. W were on our honeymoon, and we look forward to returning for an anniversary in the future.

If you didn't shower by ~10am, the hot water was not a guarantee. ”

I have stayed twice now at this beautiful private hotel. The host is absolutely charming and made us so welcome. Despite having only a little English and our terrible Spanish to communicate, we were able to do so. She also has translator on her computer. Big help!
At 5pm afternoon tea is provided.
The courtyard and building is beautiful.

Everything was pretty well perfect. Maybe a more interesting Spanish biscuit or cake rather than a packet wafer biscuit for afternoon tea.”

The location was absolutely perfect for Granada and very authentic. The inn is very well appointed and beautifully decorated. The backyard patio and garden was also very nice.

There was nothing I did not like but I do have some suggestions. I felt like the garden was under-utilized. I think it would be a great idea for the Inn to offer a nightly "happy hour" in the garden with drinks and light food for all the guests for a nominal fee.”

“I loved Anna (the hotelier). She came out into the alley to find us, when we couldn't tell which was our hotel...”

“This hotel is wonderfully located. It's right by the main plaza and near the Albaizin. (spelling?) You need to take a 15 minute bus ride to the Alhambra. Our favorite part about this hotel is that it really felt more like a home. The concierge speaks english fairly well and she was very helpful with directions and restaurants. She also was the cook and she made us a fantastic breakfast in the morning. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique place to stay. We loved it as it made us feel like we were in someone's home in Granada...not a tourist hotel. There is no hair dryer and the rooms have a rustic elegance about them. Make sure to read the detailed directionsthey are helpful...and when you arrive at the door, there is a pull chain to the right of the door... you need to pull it to ring the bell.”

The location was great. However, the rooms were less than inviting and the bathrooms were quite small. We were traveling with another couple who felt as we did. Both bathrooms and bedrooms had numerous tiny ants. I would not recommend this hotel.

This was our favorite inn in Spain. We felt like personal guests in a beautiful house. The owner spoke limited English, we spoke even more limited Spanish, but she gave us a tour of the house and took a lot of time making us feel welcome. We would have loved to have an extra day there.
