“Wonderful location! The inn itself is enough, but a few minutes drive puts you in impossibly quaint Frigiliani and a few minutes more puts you on the beach at Nerja. Beautifully finished rooms all with vistas looking down the steep hillside to the sea in the distance. Sandra and her daughter were warm and always helpful hosts. We spend three wonderful days here and dream of going back.”

“As it was early season it was very cold. There was no form of heating other than wood burning stoves. We therefore had to keep asking the proprietors for wood and lighters which was a little frustrating. Would be good if they stoke up a fire for guests early in the evening rather than us trying to use our cubs/brownie skills to get a fire going. Other than that no complaints at all!”

“Recommend that you advise first-timers or those not familiar with the area NOT to try to drive there after dark. Narrow mountain road can be quite difficult to navigate after dark. Their restaurant doesn't serve dinner on Monday nights, which we didn't know before we arrived Monday night. This info should be added.”

“Major disappointment as restaurant refused to serve/sell tapas or snacks during the evening, though we did not want a full dinner we were hungry. No food available after breakfast (snacks/sandwiches would help). No tea/coffee making facilities in room. No fridge in room. Too far from Frigiliana for easy walking (uphill!)therefore dependant on hotel but facilities poor. Okay for one or two-night stay, not a week or more.”

“The setting was magnificent and so were the rooms (apart from the lack of airconditioning), but for the price charged and the remote location, I think there should have at least been a kettle and tea making facilities in each room, or if not, this should have been offered complimentary by the hotel.”
