7 night minimum in high and extra high season. A deposit of 100 Euros is required. Low Season Weekends have prices of Mid Season La Torre (the Tower) is surrounded by natural vegetation and has spectacular views over the fertile Guadalhorce valley, giving the cottage unrivalled privacy. The tower is built using traditional terracotta brick, stone, wood and cane. La Torre has a capacity for 2 or 4 people (or a family): on the ground floor there is a circular sitting room/dining room with an attractive fireplace. There is also a bathroom with shower, a bedroom with two single beds and a fully equipped kitchen on this floor. A semicircular staircase winds round the central chimney leading to the upstairs reading room that is flooded with light. On this same floor is the main double bedroom with its own ensuite bathroom with Jacuzzi and terrace. For a truly relaxing stay, there is a private swimming pool fed by a pretty waterfall, and surrounded by a garden. Hiking and walking are very popular in this area and this would make a perfect base for exploring the area and taking advantage of the beautiful surroundings. There is a little restaurant servicing the cottages on the finca and there are more in the surrounding area, at El Chorro 3.5 Km and Valle de Abdalajís 4.5 Km away (with a few restaurants, bars, and coffe-shops) These pretty cottages were mentioned in the 2001 Conde Naste top 30 Villas in Europe article. Minimum stay in September 7 nights (and very advantageous rates for 7 night stays). The friendly and knowledgeable owners will help plan routes or activities in the area.

Notes Finca Rocabella is situated in the heart of one of the most beautiful spots in the interior of Malaga only 3 km from the village of "El Chorro". It is on the very borders of the Natural Park known as "Desfiladero de los Gaitanes" providing possibilities for a wide range of outdoor activities such a hiking, mountain biking, fishing, horse-riding, photography, etc. Every year the area also attracts geologists and artists. The area is perhaps best known for the opportunities it provides for rock climbing (over 500 routes ranging from 4c-8c+) and for paragliding: the mountains of Valle de Abdalajis are internationally known amongst the paragliding fraternity as one of the best areas in Europe for this sport during the winter season. The season traditionally starts here from the beginning of October. It is also only 15 minutes drive from the 3 lakes belonging to Ardales National Park which offer possibilites for unmotorized water sports.
