"A shelter for the pilgrim" is the traditional definition of a Posada - and in this case it is a wonderfully renewed building that has been standing since the 13th century. At the foot of Denia castle and overlooking the port, it is now a 25 room luxurious hotel with every amenity possible. The rooms are superbly decorated in neutral tones with the very best of fittings, each with full bathroom, air conditioning, television, telephone, private parking (12 euros/night) and a bodega/cafe. All windows are double glazed and rooms soundproofed. There are many great restaurants in the area (in fact with an excellent restaurant next door) and it is the perfect base for exploring the Castillo de Denia, the beaches along the coast, the nearest being just 50 metres from the hotel, golf courses in the vicinity and the town of Denia itself. There are 20 double rooms and 5 spacious suites and each room has a different price depending on size and decoration. Price will be confirmed once an enquiry is made.

The Junior Suite with sofa bed can accommodate a family of 3 or 4.

Restaurant Sal de Mar specializes in fish and seafood. Closed Tuesdays

“One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in! We will defintely go again and have recommended it to friends. The only criticism we have is that you had to pay extra for anything cooked at breakfast eg boiled eggs, fried eggs but that is a minor criticism.”
