This small, town-centre hotel was once a nunnery and was built by the Marquis del Campo more than 450 years ago. An inn for some time, it has recently undergone some major renovations and is a pleasant, simple, very reasonably-priced and friendly place to stay while visiting Denia. The hotel is about 800 metres to the beaches, some 20 km. of them, and is conveniently located for those arriving or departing by ferry from the Balearics (Majorca, Menorca, Ibiza). The rooms are simply and brightly decorated and have air conditioning, ceiling fans, television, telephone and safe (and hair dryers in the ensuite bathrooms). The restaurant offers an extensive menu at about 20-25 euros p.p. and a menu del dia for lunch at 9.50 euros including wine. Vegetarian dishes are also available. Half and full board options allow guests to choose from the full menu at a lower rate. Parking is difficult in Denia, but the hotel has a private and secure parking for approximately 8 euros a night. Denia is rich in history and culture and its streets are a fascinating showcase of architecture through the ages - Iberian, Carthaginian, Roman, Arab and Christian. Now it is a bustling holiday destination and a working town. There are a range of holiday activities available from the hotel (including walks in the local countryside with a guide), Salsa classes, Tai Chi, Yoga and Chinese Painting.

We have a number of rooms with interconnecting doors which are ideal for families. Breakfast is included in the room price.
Meal Information
The hotel restaurant is open all day from 8:00 in the morning ´till late and serves local Mediterranean dishes including paellas and tapas. Our lunch time menu del dia costs 10€ per person and includes wine and coffee. The evening menu costs 15€ and is also all inclusive. Calle Loreto is a pedetrian area with many different restaurants all with busy street terraces.
Notes The hotel accepts all credit cards except Amex and Diners. Denia is midway between the two international airports of Valencia (to the north) and Alicante (to the south), about a hour's drive on the A7 motorway. Close to golf courses, tennis, sailing, windsurfing, kite surfing, canoeing, water skiing, diving, jet skiing, pedaloes, horseriding, walking/hiking, biking, quad biking and beach volleyball.
