Amex is not accepted. On Tuesdays the Hotel requires an estimated time of arrival in advance, as they are not 24hs at the hotel.
Hotel Restaurante Santa Fe is a small restored nineteenth century farmhouse just outside the white village of Coín, overlooking the Guadalhorce Valley. Set close to the edge of the Sierras de las Nieves, one of southern Spain’s most beautiful and unspoiled Natural Parks, this friendly small inn is a quiet and relaxing spot. From the rooms, terraces, gardens and the hotel’s private swimming pool there are marvelous views in all directions. Santa Fe’s well known restaurant offers fine international cuisine (closed on tues). The extensive à la carte menu is accompanied by a selection of good quality Spanish wines. During the summer months most meals are taken outside on one of the terraces, and in the winter you can dine by a log burning stove in the restaurant or conservatory. Santa Fe has three twin and two double bedrooms, all with en-suite bath or shower room and the rooms are uniquely and comfortably decorated with antique furniture, mellow terra-cotta floors and beamed ceilings to complement the Andalusian atmosphere. This is a no-smoking hotel.
Meal Information
Andalusian: Closed on Tuesday. Other days opened for lunch and dinner. Full a la carte menu, including vegetarian options, based on traditional French cuisine with international influences. The restaurant is open to general public as well and they have a high quality standard known by locals and costa cosmopolitan.
Notes
The area is perfect for various sporting and relaxing activities: local horse-riding school, a shooting range with clay traps, golf, hiking and biking.

Very welcoming. Clean and comfortable. Food excellent.

Tastefully restored finca, attractive and stylish decor, excellent food. Stay marred only by traffic noise from nearby road and barking dogs (both mainly at night)

Liked:
The hotel is in an especially nice setting, but due to poor weather we did not see it at its best. It would also have been nice to be offered a hot breakfast, although what was offered was adequate.

Unfortunately, we had very inclement weather and, therefore, it would have been nice to have had a television in the room or at least in the hotel.

We missed the aircon, and next time would book a room at the rear of the premises away from the road. But the people were charming, food was excellent, and we would stay there again.

Hotel was very good we would use it again and recommend it to family + friends although if someone had a problem with steps, although there was a lift to all floors there were still some stairs to the pool and beach
Rating: Very Good
The rooms were far too hot which made it very difficult to sleep, there was a fan but it was old and very noisy, every thing else was good and the food was excellent!

The friendly reception. Clean rooms and bathrooms. The lady was extremely helpful when the news broke that we were stuck for some days in Spain, due to the volcanic eruption. The hotel also has a very good restaurant, worth the stop for those passing by.
