This lovely XVIII century carters’ house in the village of Casarejos has kept its antique essence, reminiscent of the Catholic Kings time. There are eight well equipped double rooms with full bathrooms, each decorated simply in bright colours and with comfortable furniture and either twin or double beds. Small reminders of the house's history are used as art and, whenever possible, the original wood beams and building materials have been incorporated. There is a terrace and garden with iron furniture and a special restaurant on the ground floor decorated with stone, wood and a huge barbecue/fireplace where meats are roasted. The cuisine is traditional with innovative touches and the winelist has more than a hundred and thirty special bottles. In the relaxing lounge, enjoy a book by the fireplace or play the piano. Casarejos is on the Castle Route - a perfect base from which to explore some very special places: Castillo de Burgo de Osma, Castillo de Calatañazor, Castillo de Berlanga de Duero, Castillo de Ucero, Castillo de San Esteban de Gormaz, Catedral de Burgo de Osma. This is an area of great natural beauty and there are opportunities for hiking and biking all around.
