In Carmona (29 km. from Sevilla about 20 minutes drive), and in one of Carmona’s most appealing locations on the top of a hill, is this delightful six hundred year old palace with an appealing ambiance from the Mudejar period. It is a special small hotel with sixty eight air conditioned rooms: despite the size, it has an intimate, welcoming and friendly feeling while having the latest in modern technology. The rooms are of different sizes and styles: as well as standard double rooms there are some exceptional suites: Suite El mirador has superb views of the Carmona Valley. Suite Azul, is romantic with its fireplace and hydromassage bathtub. The junior suites have a solarium. The rooms are spacious, with modern bathrooms, marble floors, and are comfortably decorated. There is an outdoor swimming pool, parking, a lounge and restaurant. There are many restaurants in the vicinity. The helpful staff will be pleased to assist you with excursion planning, arranging horseriding, hikes, etc.

Notes The two main gates in the city walls date from the Roman period, but the most remarkable Roman monument is the Necropolis. Do not miss the Alcazar Puerta Sevilla, streets of Carmona, Prioral Santa Maria, Alcazar Rey Pedro I. There are numerous treks and excursions of interest - Carmona itself is a fascinating place. Take a tour of the Royal School of Equestrian Art. The Donana National Park showcases the natural beauty of the area while the local cuisine can be sampled with wine and oil tastings or tours around the local restaurants, farms and food production sites. For the more adventurous guest, hot air balloon rides, off-road rally driving, equestrian activities, extreme sports and canoeing are all available in the vicinity.
