The hotel's restaurant is closed on Wednesdays. This carefully restored XVI building is now rural hotel is in the heart of Canillas de Albaida, a small, traditional white village 3 km. from Competa in the Andalucian hills in Southern Spain. The hotel is in the central plaza of the this traditional Spanish village. The building is a blend of Moorish architecture, local craftsmanship and traditional decor, giving each room an authentic Spanish ambience but with every modern comfort including air conditioning, heating and satellite television. The hotel has just one suite and eight double or twin rooms, each with their own bathroom, and a small sitting/reading area plus a large roof terrace with a jacuzzi which has stunning views of the Sierra Almijara, Tejeda Natural Park, and the Mediterranean coast below. The restaurant serves Spanish cuisine, tapas and fine wines and uses fresh, local seasonal products. This is an excellent base for outdoor activities and enjoying the breathtaking scenery.
From Jul/05/2010 to Sep/20/2010: DURING THE SUMMER: with your reservation though Inns of Spain, free use of Jazuzzi, Sauna, Turkish Bath and Hydromassage.

Notes In the vincinity are walking (El Lucero and La Maroma will provide a challenge to experienced hikers), horse riding, mountain biking, birding, sketching.
