The Hospes Maricel is probably one of the loveliest places we have ever stayed. With its fascinating architecture (it was actually built in 1946 but there are some wonderful 16th and 17th century touches as well as ultra modern and luxurious rooms), breathtaking location right on the sea and superb friendly yet professional service, it would be difficult to find a more appealing place to stay. The entire property underwent a recent massive renovation and the results are wonderful. The location is on the waterfront between Palma and Calvia. You will be spoiled by the gorgeous dawns and sunsets and the infinity swimming pool that starts where the sea begins. The room types at the Maricel are sea double, terrace double, suite and terrace suite – and all are subtly decorated in natural colours with full modern bathrooms. The restaurant offers a regional and international cuisine, while the pool bar – beneath the stone arches - offers a selection of salads, sandwiches, natural fruit juices, drinks, gourmet ice creams and a wide variety of snacks. There is also a lounge/cocktail bar. The Maricel offers a unique breakfast experience: there is no menu or buffet, but an improvised menu that changes according to the ingredients in season. Various courses are included, so linger as long as you want. There is a second building at the Maricel which also houses the Bodyna Spa and Maricel Suites (with their own splash pools). The spa has a fitness room, a pilates room, rooms for relaxation, a covered /open air swimming pool, sauna, steam baths, a medical office, and terrace-solarium. The range of treatments offered is extensive - so be prepared for some serious relaxation.
Family Information
A maximum of 3 persons per room are allowed, children included with exception for all suites types. 0-2 years old cot free of charge, always upon request and availablity. Supplement 3rd person (child or adult) 115Eu + tax, upon request and availablity.

Notes The location is on the waterfront about a 30 minute drive from the airport. This is a beautiful part of the island of Mallorca and close enough to Palma for easy day-trips.
