Finca La Ramallosa, consisting of almost 130 hectares in the remote Sierra de Gata, is place to enjoy relaxing or taking advantage of outdoor activities: hiking, horseriding or 4 x 4 are all possible here. La Ramallosa consists of a row of five stone-built houses forming a tiny hamlet where in times past, families who worked the land lived. The oven where they would have baked bread, the warehouse for grain/salon, etc., are all still there. The houses have been refurbished with care, while maintaining tradition. Los Alcornoques (Cork Oaks): the smallest house - is perhaps the most romantic - has a double bedroom - sitting room combined, bathroom, and sitting room with fire place. Las Encinas (Sweet Oaks): a medium-sized house has two double rooms - one with queen-sized bed, one with twin beds, bathroom and sitting room with fire place. Los Olivos (The Olives): a medium-sized house on two levels - with two double rooms - one with queen-sized bed, one with twin beds, bathroom, sitting room with fire place. - Los Robles (The Oaks): is one of the biggest houses - with two double rooms, one with queen-sized bed, one with twin beds - both rooms with fire places - bathroom, and very large sitting room with fire place. Las Jaras (The Rockroses): a large house with two double rooms - one with queen-sized bed, one with twin beds - both with fireplaces, bathroom and large sitting room with fire place. Houses do not have kitchen facilities as a food service is provided (outdoors in the farm, different terraces, inside your own houses or even in the middle of the woods for a picnic. There is a swimming pool for guest use during the summer months. La Ramallosa's cuisine offers traditional recipes from the area - homemade with products from the farm’s own garden - a unique menu each day to sample the different dishes of each season. There is also all-day bar service in the dining room or by the pool. For breakfast enjoy home made jams and muffins, the farm’s own olive oil, bread baked in the nearest villages, migas, cakes and sausages from the area. Rebecca and Alfonso will make your stay most enjoyable.
