In a wonderfully central setting overlooking the Jewish quarter, the tenth century Caliphate's baths - and in the garden of Camp Santo de la Martires is Las Cases de la Juderia. The history and architecture of the building have been carefully preserved in its restoration to this special hotel. There are a total of 64 rooms around several Moorish courtyards: sixty of the rooms are double and four are suites and junior suites. The year of construction of the original building was 1597 - and its reopening as a special hotel 2010. This is a five star property and the rooms reflect this with hydromassage jacuzzi and independent shower, hairdryer and magnifying mirror in the bathrooms. There is 24 hour room service, TDT television, views from rooms, telephone and writing desk, wifi, minibar, safe, air conditioning and - essential for Cordova in the middle of summer - an outdoor swimming pool and solarium. The restaurant Los Marqueses serves a regional cuisine in a beautiful setting. There is a parking lot attendant - so no need to worry about your car, but it is better to be a pedestrian in Cordoba. Naturally the staff speak English, French, German and Spanish and the concierge will be happy to help you plan your stay in this wonderful city.
