Sant Joan de Binissaida is a charming rural hotel that opened in 2004. It is in an eighteenth century manor house on the east side of Minorca Island, very close to the entrance to the port of Mahón. With twelve beautiful ensuite rooms, a gastronomic restaurant, a large outdoor pool, and huge private gardens, it is a splendid place to stay on the charming island of Minorca (declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve). The rural hotel is divided into two areas: the main house and the old stable-barn. The first has seven rooms (including the two Suites, Wagner and Rossini), the restaurant and the fireplace salon. The second contains five double rooms. The rooms are decorated in the purest Minorcan style with lovely views over the countryside or Sant Esteve cove and the entrance to the port of Mahón. They are equipped with plasma TV, music system, telephone, Internet connection, satellite channel, safebox, dryer, heating, etc.. The beds have top quality mattresses and sheets, ensuring complete relaxation and a peaceful sleep. From the hotel visitors may take walks through the surrounding area or along the “camí de cavalls” (horses’ pathways) that follows the coast or the various hiking trails, not to mention the option of bicycle touring. Sant Joan de Binissaida is an ideal destination for people seeking a charming hotel with personality, for countryside lovers, those who enjoy good cooking, and who are seeking friendly yet professional service.
