The Feria of Benahavis takes place from the 11th to 16th of August. It will be very noisy at night during these dates. This lovely little nine roomed inn is in Benahavis, a village just 5 km. from the sea (easily reached on the National Route 340 about 70 km. from Malaga). The Amanhavis restaurant, open Tuesday through Saturday, has been voted one of the top ten restaurants in Andalucia. The guestroom names evoke the excitement and history of old times, The Sultan Boabdil's chamber, the Spice Traders Caravan, The Alchemists Laboratory -- and the decor echoes the themes. There is a rooftop solarium and a patio and small pool -- wonderful spots to enjoy the lazy, sunny days in Andalusia. Prestigious golf clubs abound in the area and this inn is the perfect base from which to explore the White Villages. Hiking the mountain paths is a popular pastime, and horses can be rented in the vicinity. This is not a suitable location for children under 12 years of age. Parking is available only on nearby streets. .
