Located in Begur (no more than a four minute walk to the town centre), this small seven room inn and restaurant is inexpensive and is conveniently located for walking to the centre. The staff are friendly and helpful and the restaurant of Mas Comangau Restaurant offers good, regional, seasonal cuisine with an extensive winelist. The friendly owner speaks good English and is knowledgable about the area. The simple guestrooms are all ensuite (with showers) and are air conditioned, with television and telephone. They have high ceilings, stone walls, wood floors and there is a small deck outside each room with a table and chairs. Most rooms have one big bed but let us know if you require twin beds. In some rooms it is possible to add a third bed. There is a terrace and garden -- and you can order drinks from the bar to enjoy on the terrace. There is parking at the hotel (usually a difficult prospect for Begur). The hotel is located just off a significant road but traffic noise is not a problem. The village of Begur is in the heart of the Costa Brava at the centre of the Baix Emporda coast. From the village of Begur, which is 200 metres above sea level, you can enjoy splendid panoramic views overlooking the beautiful bays of the Costa Brava in Catalonia. In Begur there is easy access to beaches with clear waters and coves surrounded by green pine trees.
