Please note: from December 1 to April 6 all the weekends are high season. Jaca is a centre for adventure and cultural activities in the Pyrenees. Two companies offer Barosse’s clients all manner of water, mountain and snow sports activities. Ski passes are available at the hotel. Located in the Huescan Pyrenees, Barosse is a small, charming hotel situated in the urban area of Barós, a district of Jaca. This stretch of the Road to Santiago has an 11th century Romanesque church and a number of other gems which are a must for visitors, especially if climate change starts to warm up the winter season, as Huesca has much more to offer than just skiing. The building that houses the hotel was once the Pardina de Paternoy - a building of historical significance. It was rescued and skilfully renovated by José and Gustavo who run Barosse. There are just six rooms at this inn, each uniquely decorated and supremely comfortable, with full bathrooms. The dining room has a big oval table for communal meals while individual tables are located on the terrace. There is a jacuzzi, sauna and massage treatments are available. The menu for the restaurant is created each morning depending on what is fresh in the market: this is an imaginative and creative cuisine (average price 30 euros pp).

For Mainland Spain (peninsula)
For stays of 1 or 2 nights: If cancelled more than 7 days prior to reservation, no hotel penalty. If cancelled within seven days of reservation the hotel will charge the amount of one night.
For stays of 3 nights or more: if cancelled within seven days of reservation, hotel will charge 30% of entire stay. In cases where client has booked three or more nights and shortens the number of days reserved (upon arrival or during stay), the hotel will charge 30% of the cost of the remaining nights. In case of no-show, 100% of complete stay charged.
Balearic & Canary Islands
If cancelled between fifteen and eight days of reservation date, the hotel will charge 50% of the total nights reserved. If cancelled seven or less days prior to reservation date, hotel will charge total amount of stay. In case of no-show, 100% of complete stay charged.

“Fantastic place. The attention to detail in the rooms was lovely. Although the host spoke little English , he was most helpful. Dinner was very good as was breakfast. Cant reccomend it enough. Shame about the weather though !”
