This is a boutique hotel, quite pricey, but well worth it. Fantastic location in the Barri Gotic, 1/2 block from cathedral. A bit challenging to get to by taxi, but the hotel staff are vey helpful and accomodating. Room 107 is the best--4 french doors to small balconies, spacious, spacious bathroom. I'm told its John Malkovich's favorite room. Bar/restaurant opens onto a small courtyard with a fountain and craters in the walls from the bombing during the civil war.

It was great. Great staff, incredible ambiance, spacious rooms, fantastic location. A bit pricey though, but worth it.”

The dinner in the restaurant was superb.
Didn't Like:
The breakfast is too expensive, but we found a better alternative at a local cafe a few minutes away from the hotel.
It gets a bit noisy early in the morning when the children (probably from a local school) pay in the courtyard next to the hotel.”

“We loved Hotel Neri. A very beautiful hotel, it was a perfect blend of luxury and flawless modern design. The friendly hotel staff was warm and helpful. Highly recommend. One minor problem lay in finding the hotel. I would strongly recommend getting better directions than the map provided. Our taxi driver was lost, even with the map and address. ”

“Loved this hotel. Great location, beautiful lobby, very comfortable rooms with great plumbing, spacious bathrooms. The room at the front of the hotel was much quieter than the one at the back of the hotel. We liked this hotel so much we extended our stay by three days.”

“Wonderful, wonderful! Very upscale, trendy and attractive in a great location right next to the cathedral. Staff was very helpful, restaurant was superb. Only area for improvement would be better instructions for finding the hotel. As it is accessible by foot only, we'd like to have been told where the taxi should leave us. We had a lot of luggage to transport by hand.”

“Difficulty with the taxi driver. We did not realize an auto can not reach the entrance to Hotel Neri. Obviously we learned to "bag drag" from the Plaza.
Hotel Neri staff were wonderful, as was our room! Thank you for a delightful stay.

Although the room was designated a
junior suite it was no larger than a standard bedroom in a 4 star hotel.
The bathroom was not well designed and had difficulty controlling the shower and the water outlet due to the shower screen being fixed to the bath. There was also a persistent odour in the bathroom like bad drains.

“The front desk was very helpful about everything -- restaurants, transportation, etc. The one thing that would really help would be bell service (help with luggage)from the nearest plaza through the pedestrian zone to the hotel. Even with rolling luggage, the walk can be difficult because of the crowded narrow streets. ”
