Please, note that prices can vary according to season, special events or statutory holidays. The hotel uses dynamic pricing, so the earlier you reserve, usually the better the price. It was a pleasant surprise to discover this unusual hotel midway between Barcelona airport and the city, and it was a perfect place to stay when arriving at the airport late at night or leaving early morning. It is a ten minute drive to the airport and a ten minute drive (or train/bus ride) into the centre of Barcelona. There is even a bus (number 46) that leaves from the airport and drops you almost at the hotel's doorstep at Plaza Europa. The exterior is unmistakeable, a red spiralled tower designed by award-winning architect Toyo Ito - and the interiors were another pleasant surprise. The rooms are modern, spacious, comfortable and with state-of-the-art bathrooms. There is a restaurant on the ground floor that serves international cuisine and a well-equipped wellness centre. The hotel is located in a business district, so there is not much of interest in the surrounding area (unless you feel like exploring an Ikea store across the road or you are attending a conference nearby), but it is easy to take a bus, taxi or train from the Europa Fira train station into the centre of Barcelona. The hotel has 320 rooms of varying sizes, but we have chosen to include this in our group as the hotel has an intimate feeling - thanks to its clever design, and the location is ideal for the airport and Barcelona (and the rates are considerably lower than central Barcelona). Parking is possible for an extra charge.

If the reservation is cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the booking, there is no charge. If cancelled less than 48 hours prior to reservation, the hotel will charge one nights stay. In case of a no-show, the hotel will charge one night.
