A 20% deposit is required by the hotel upon reservation. This two hundred year old Andalusian country mansion has been skillfully restored to its original splendor, with some sensitive updating to make it a lovely and luxurious small hotel with just thirteen air conditioned guest suites. The guest rooms have underfloor heating and are furnished with teak four-poster beds or super kingsize beds (with the finest Egyptian cotton bedding), flat screen television with DVD and CD player, hairdryer, minibar, safe and tea and coffee-making facilities. Some of the suites have walk-in dressing rooms and all have furnished terrace or balcony with garden and mountain views. There are two groundfloor suites that look out on to the courtyard. The Cortijo La Prensa offers Spanish and international cuisine and has an excellent winelist (important – reserve lunch or dinner in advance). There is a freshwater swimming pool, Jacuzzi and gym on the ten acre property surrounded by olive groves and gardens. The setting is on the banks of two rivers and is surrounded by mountain ranges in the heart of Andalusia. This would make an excellent base from which to explore the exciting, historical cities of Granada, Sevilla and Malaga. Because of the proximity of the rivers, this is not a suitable location for children.

Meal Information
Restaurant closed on Sundays. Select lunch menu available. Dinner menu of Spanish and International Cuisine changes daily using fresh products from the local markets. Dinner by reservation only and cost approximately 35Eu per person.

Cancellation Policy:
A 20% deposit is required by the hotel upon reservation. Cancellation by email or fax 14 days before arrival date the deposit refunded. If cancelled 14 days or less prior to arrival the deposit there will be no refund by the hotel (in case they can re-let the accommodation the deposit will be refuded). In case of no show or early departure, total amount of stay will be charged.
