This is a self catering option - for those who want a holiday break far away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Halfway between the Ocean and the Mountains, at an altitude of 600 metres, is this country house retreat, the house of the painter, which has been tastefully restored. With simple accommodation for just ten people, there are four small casas - The Yellow house, The Patio house, The Dragon House, and the Stone House - which provide comfortable, simple accommodation, and all are equipped with bedding and cooking utensils. In the complex is also an art studio and gardens full of local plants, cactii, fruit trees and vines. The location is just 15 minutes from the beaches and pine forests of Teide. Come to relax or to participate in various meditations, painting classes, chromotherapy, breathing therapy and holistic massage. Mountain walks and bathing in the sea complement the relaxing surroundings. The yellow house (for 2) has a double bed, kitchen and bathroom and is in the centre of the garden with palm, mango and papaya trees. The Patio House has two rooms with 2 beds in each, a kitchen and a bathroom. On the patio are a stone oven and a red bougainvillea for shade. The Dragon House has a romantic fireplace, double bed, kitchen and a bathroom and is furnished with elegant antique furniture. The Stonehouse has a bedroom with double bed, a bathroom and a kitchen. It is an old building with a wooden and tiled roof. A pergola of white and black grapes, an olive tree, and hisbiscus flowers decorate the outside. The hotel does not serve any meals but the owners are happy to recommend restaurants in the area. Guests are welcome to the fruit and vegetables in the garden. They can choose from the kitchen in their villa or the barbecue in the garden to cook meals. This is not a suitable location for children unfortunately.

The only house for a family of 3 or 4 is the La Casa del Patio.
Meal Information
The hotel doesn't not have a restaurant, all the houses have their own kitchenette. In the garden there is also a stone-barbecue with garden-furniture to cook outside meals.

Located in Arona, Tenerife. 15 minutes from the beaches and pine trees of Mt. Teide and also from the Reina Sofia airport and Los Cristianos. In the vicinity are horseriding, mountain bike rides, see dolphins and whales in the ocean. Local restaurants abound, offering Canarian cuisine - and local wines of excellent quality. Artist's gallery and studio on site. It is 900 metres to the nearest restaurant/shops.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled at least 14 days prior to reservation, no inn cancellation fee. If cancelled between 14 and 7 days of reservation, one night charged. If cancelled less than 7 nights before reservation 50% of stay charged. If cancelled within 24 hours of reservation, or no show, full amount is payable.
