3 night min stay policy in August Located in the heart of the old town of Arcos de la Frontera, one of the most beautiful pueblos blancos or white villages in Andalusia and a historical heritage site, is the small simple and charming inn La Casa de Bovedas. La Casa de Bóvedas was recently restored by its owners, Cecilia Lozano and architect Remy Lemmens. With just two suites and three double rooms, all ensuite, it is a perfect example of the decoration and architecture of Andalusia: white plaster walls, colourful tiles, arches, furnishings in bright colours, open air courtyard and lovely views. The walls are thick and there is a pleasant northerly breeze (no artificial air conditioning here). No smoking rooms are available. The inn is located about 200 metres from Plaza del Cabildo (see the notes about parking). The streets of Arcos are very narrow and parking is at a premium, so you will save yourself a lot of anxiety if you just park your car out of the old town and walk to the hotel. Enjoy breakfast on the patio, and walk to one of the many nearby restaurants for dinner.

Enjoy the wonderful breakfast in the open courtyard beneath our venerable lemon tree, or just relax watching the flight of birds in the valley is to reach his hand. Walk down the village in its narrow streets, where you can also see many small restaurants and tapas bars to enjoy.
Notes Only twenty minutes from Jerez de la Frontera,and trains run frequently between the towns (with two direct lines, Madrid - Cádiz y Madrid – Algeciras. Seville is about one hour away.
Any applicable City and regional taxes (usually in the range of 1-3 euros per person/night) are collected by the hotel at checkout.

The owner is very hospitable. The rooms are unusual and very interesting. The atmosphere is informal and very peaceful. The breakfast was excellent. The town is beautiful and there is a surprising amount to see.
Didn't Like:
Parking is a real problem as the rules have changed with regard to the old town. I strongly recommend leaving cars in the underground car park and taking a taxi from the nearby taxi rank. The hotel has some steep steps and was a problem for one of our party who has a slight disability.” Rating: Excellent
