In the popular town of Aranjuez, a World Heritage Site, is this small hotel located within easy walking distance to the gardens and the Palace (and on a quiet side road). The building has been skilfully renovated and has a warm, attractive ambience. With ten double rooms, five single rooms, two triple rooms and a family suite for five, the hotel is on two floors with a 'corrala' in the centre in the traditional Aranjuez style. The rooms are small but comfortable, with air conditioning and heating, television, internet access and, of course, full bathrooms. We found that wifi was best from the bar/breakfast area - in some of the rooms it did not work too well. Some of the rooms face outwards while others have courtyard views. There is one family room that sleeps five (a double and three single beds on two levels). There is a central patio with tables, chairs and lounges. Only breakfast is served, but there are restaurants in the vicinity. With its location less than 40 km. from Madrid, and within easy reach of the historical towns of Toledo and Chinchon, it is a perfect place to start a tour of Spain. The hotel does not have private car parking, but there is usually street parking available. Read the map carefully as there are many one-way streets in Aranjuez.

For stays of 1 or 2 nights: If cancelled more than 7 days prior to reservation, no hotel penalty. If cancelled within seven days of reservation the hotel will charge the amount of one night.

For stays of 3 nights or more: if cancelled within seven days of reservation, hotel will charge 30% of entire stay. In cases where client has booked three or more nights and shortens the number of days reserved (upon arrival or during stay), the hotel will charge 30% of the cost of the remaining nights. In case of no-show, 100% of complete stay charged.

Balearic & Canary Islands
If cancelled between fifteen and eight days of reservation date, the hotel will charge 50% of the total nights reserved. If cancelled seven or less days prior to reservation date, hotel will charge total amount of stay. In case of no-show, 100% of complete stay charged.

“Son (11) was thrilled to discover his bed was on a mini mezzanine at the end of the room. Faboulously comfortable beds, great breakfast taken in the inner coutyard of this lovely old building. Do not miss this boutique hotel!”

We enjoyed the seperate sleeping space within the family room for our children. In this respect it was the best of all our various hotels. The staff were very helpful and accomodating and sympathetic to my limited knowledge of Spanish - thank you! Charming hotel with hostess who sent us to a great restaurant, Casa Jose. This is a great town and hotel for anyone flying in from the Sates to Madrid, picking up a car and wanting to stay close to Madrid before traveling on to other towns/cities. ( A chance to rest and regroup after the overnight flight from the States.) Casa Jose was the best meal/restaurant we experienced in our two weeks in Spain.
Didn't Like:
Breakfast was typical Continental fair but in charming area of hotel.”

“We struggled (and so did many other guests) with the staircase up from reception - and no lift. thre was no choice at breakast. my diet is 'sin trigo' and so i was hungry.”
